Soooooooo now that the initial lot of these scopes have been out and about for awhile how are the guys in the 'know' liking them thus far ??????

Used the 1.5 - 5 and 4 - 14 all season for service rifle and sniper rifle matches. No problems.

Mine is still new but here are my quick observations:

- turrets are great with very positve clicks and feel
- flip caps aren't as nice as Buttler Creek but are perfectly servicable
- power ring is very stiff, but mine is all of a week old
- up to 20 x the optics are clear. Between 20 and 25 it is very usable but also noticably soft

I was a bit put off about the 20 to 25 power setting until I reminded myself it's a $550 optic, not a $2000 optic. For the money and compared to my Bushnell 10x mil dot that was on my rifle I'm happy with the purchace.

1.5x5 falcon

Have a couple of 1.5x5x30 falcon's on swiss rifles and they have performed like they should.

i bought two of them on a leap of faith from what a buddy told me. i should have just bought another mark 4 . the parallax is very weak and wont focus in . the o rings that seal the turrets are very hard to get back together once you try to reset to zero

Is that the case with both of them or is it just one giving the problem? Fire one off to the factory and check out the warentee service and let us know how it went.

I've got the 4-14x44 ffp and used it quite a bit this last summer (200+rds of 308). The knobs and power adjust where pretty tight when I got it but seems to be holding up really well.

Goes back and forth from the 100yd to 300yd settings without trouble, I'm pretty impressed by the clarity of the glass and how much I can see out of it.

The only thing I dislike about both of mine (4.5-18 and 4-14) is the power ring is STIFF!!!! I tried to heat it up with a hair dryer, and it got easier!.... but then was hard as a rock again when it cooled down.

Other than that - very pleased! Metric is the way to go!!!

I've had a fixed 10 power on my Weatherby for 2 seasons. 300+ rnds. Fell over on the shooting bench a couple times. Works fine. Prone you ask? hit my nose more than a few times. Could use some more eye relief.

Sure would like to see some of these scopes go in for repair. The store in Prince Albert told me the repair turn around to the UK is about 6 weeks. Plenty of time before serious shooting gets going.
