Long time lurker, first time poster

Hi there.

I'm a long-time lurker on the forums, but this is my first post.
I just bought a revolver off another member here, so I thought it was about time I introduced myself.

I am from Toronto, and have been shooting for about 10 years, purely handgun. My shooting sport is bullseye (ISSF), and my firearm collection reflects that (plus a few toys):

Walther GSPs in 22 & 32 (a story for another forum)
High Standard Victor (my target 22RF before the GSP 22)
Colt Python SS, 6" in .357 Mag (my target CF before the GSP 32)
Sig P226 in 9mm
Colt National Match in 45ACP
Burgo Derringer in 22 (to keep my 12-6 status; another story there)
Ruger Super Blackhawk in .44 Mag (purchased right here last week)

Anyway... howdy!
 
Welcome, always nice to hear from a fellow firearm owner, especially one who's on the front lines in TO. I hope your doing your part to keep your toys! Personally, I think you guys need to ban Miller.

Mayor Miller is a dweeb on many fronts. When he first ran for election, his platform had two promises; (1) having better hair than his predecessor Mel Lastman, and (2) not building a bridge to the Toronto Islands.
Well he spent his first term as mayor not building a bridge, and being perfectly coifed while doing so.
I'm embarrased to say that was good enough for my fellow Torontonians to re-elect him. It was almost (but not quite) enough to make me move to the 905.

Welcome aboard always interesting to read about the new people. Not sure what the ISSF is so it looks like I'm doing a little web search here momentarily.
