NOpe...no long weekend sale. As with every long weekend, the Wolverine Staff are all taking the time to enjoy family and friends. The store isn't open this weekend either.

I wouldn't say that, it's just a difference in perspective and most likely generation. I would suspect that JDforBrkfast is from the same one as I am. Doesn't make it right or wrong, it's just that the generational perspective on asking for things has changed.

Wolverine Guy is not Tyson, but Tyson did get the email from Wolverine Guy.
It certainly isn't always possible to "help" with the price, regardless of what the ticket price is.
So I guess you can't do anything on the large order that I am planning to make? It is not necessarily "help" with price, but something else you can do to sweeten the deal especially if one is spending large amount of money at one purchase.
Rude and lacking class.......it must be a generational thing.

Bacardi, just because it costs a lot of money doesn't mean the retailer is making a lot of money. In my store, the most expensive items are by far the lowest margin, and leave nothing to discount. If you want retailers to survive, you have to let them make what margin they can.

I'm not of that generation but was raised by those ideals. I'm actually surprised you guys don't see any issue in that conduct. But I suppose you can't see how I have issue with it from your perspective. I didn't particuarly take issue with asking initially, but the following comments seemed pestering to me after the question had been answered.
