Leupold have excellent eye relief scopes, low pwr var, and most of the fixed power jobs

Depending on your price range Bushnell Legend 2-7x32 is advertised with 3.5inch eye relief but has at least 4-5 inchs throughout power range. I have one one a 450 Marlin as they are heavy on recoil, have no worrys of hitting eye also these scopes have a soft rubber eye ring, a plus.

Bushnell Trophy 2-6X32 LER 18" of eye relief.
Zeiss and Leupold measure eye-relief differently. Zeiss measures from the glass, and Leupold measures from the housing. That makes that 1/4" or so Zeiss "advantage" disappear at the high-end magnifications, and the Leupold wins at the lower powers. Do the flashlight test.
Although Leupold and Zeiss use different measurements, the numbers are rather accurate once that is taken under consideration. Some other companies appear to pull their ER numbers out of their ass.
The largest advantage of the Zeiss is that the eye relief is virtually constant with all magnifications.The eye relief on my Leupold VXIII 6.5x20x40 changed so much from 6.5x to 20x,that I had to move my head ahead and back to get a proper sight picture,no matter how it was mounted.
Lots of higher end stuff out there with good eye relief, but the Bushnell Legend, as someone already mentioned offers pretty reasonable relief at a bargain price. I bought one a couple years ago to put on 99 Savage, and was impressed as well with its clarity and brightness.
The 3" eye relief on the Bushnell 3200 is marginal for heavy recoil rifles. The eye piece kissed my safety glasses more than once. Didn’t cause any damage but that was enough warning so I upgraded to Leupold VXIIIs.

I currently am using a 1-4x20 VXII on my .375. Eye relief changes quite a bit through the magnification. 20mm is terrible for low light conditions, like thick bush or the 'goldenhour'. I do need to find something better. I have a 3200 3-9 hanging around I was going to try on it, but the ER is not really different. I have been kissed by this scope/rifle combo. Just hard enough once to leave a little scar. A couple of other times were just a 'warning'.

The new REDFIELD scopes made by Leupold have excellent eye relief.
I looked at the entire line at Williams Arms. I'm impressed with these scopes. Start at 170.00 and go up to 230.00
2-7x33
3-9x40 also 3-9x50
4-12x40
All these have lots of eye reliefe.
The glass looked to be really clear looking out the store window.

Conquest 4" can be recommended as well as Meopta Meopro 3,75" as medium priced scopes.
Then you have Zeiss Victory, Swarovski Z, S&B (not all models) and newer Kahles (not really as good optics as the three others) scopes.
Personally I don´t like Leupolds not consistent eyerelief optics. Strange that such good optics maker can´t make constant eyrelief as standard item in their scopes.
