Look at the girl back in my stable COONAN

Nice recovery!
How much?
Since you are obviously a Coonan fan maybe you can tell me why Dan Coonan no longer makes .357mag semi autos?

As always.....too much! LMAO

I have no idea. He was selling parts and mags for awhile, but that'a about it. Here's the kicker, the mags are worth gold, approx. $125 each, if you can find them. It sucks trying to get anything out of the US anymore.

So about 6 months ago I sold alot of guns for a couple of reasons. 2 guns I which I hadn't sold? Coonan 357 SS and S&W 629 SS Hunter. Well, call me lucky, but I found another one, just a snice as the first.

I took and extra day off for the long weekend and guess where I will be spending it....Coonan shooting session.

Very nice indeed! :)

Are there any consistent issues in autoloading handguns (like this one & the DE) that use rimmed cartridges?

My Desert Eagle shoots a revolver cartridge with no problems. My S&W model 51 shoots 38 Special full wadcutter with no problem. Others should be able to as well.

Guns that shoot a revolver rounds (where the bullet extends out of the case) have a longer grip due to the length of the cartridge. Not good for people with small hands.

Coonan and his business partner (Bill Davis) saw different directions for the company. Dan left Coonan Arms...

Dan by his own admission was a machinist and inventor not an accountant or businessman...

Bill Davis Sold out to JS Worldwide. who could not make a go of it and went bankrupt...
