Look for the flatest shooting cailber for next build! HELP!!

A 243win shooting 115 dtacs or 105 Bergers will out shoot the 6.5x284 at 1000. My next build will be a 243, likely ackley. Lapua brass, and check out the ballistics for yourself.

300RUM (reminton ultra magnum ) 300win 300dakota 300warbird 30-378weatherby and the list goes on I'm a 30 cal fan LOL

All the above...you pick your medicine & get shooting. Your going after whitetail's & max range of 500 yard's, any of the above will do. Pick a caliber that your going to be able to shoot comfortably & shoot lot's.

After looking at barrels with a bore scope I personally will go for a cartridge that is NOT overbore in powder to bore ratio..........

Pick a caliber with enough downrange energy to do the job. Learn to shoot the rifle.

I will NEVER own another 243........... killer on barrels if you want to do any amount of shooting. Mine is sitting in the closet with a barrel that looks like chunks are ready to fall out. Waiting to one day urn it back into another 6BR for fun out at the farm......

What borescope do you use? Im kinda looking for one

I have a Hawkeye. Did not go with the angled eyepiece.

Bought it more so to verify that my cleaning routine is working from barrel to barrel.

It also allows you to see what is happening in there. Shooting SR Benchrest I cannot believe I went as long as I did without one.

Wow, looking at the prices on those... I rather buy a charger master, and a LRA bipod, and some components for that price. I think I'm more into getting a cheapo snake camera (non-rigid) from Ebay
