Look like a mean machine... An accurate mean machine....

Pardon my ignorance, isn't that a 5 shot group? With that light/angle, it looks like 3 in the main group, and the "flier" looks too wide/oval... A 2 hole group? Either way, very nice piece of kit! Looking forward to range reports.

You are right it is a 5 shot group, the longer group is ..66 and the sole hole is .35 and there is a 5 written in the text... Even better than i thought... Darn this is awsome... JP.

Lucky man
where is that range
I am in same kind of situation, no range in the area, but I have acces to a 600 yards long sand pit.

Family, friends and i ( i am the boss) as the one who convinced everyones, bought in exces of 4K acres in 1990 but we only configured the range in 2010 and last year we reached 1000 metres, it is crooked, mountainous, creeks and rocks ... But it is home, we are in Jarnac, Gatineau, it is what keep me so long, away from restricteds but i caved in, but still buying cool NR rifles ( read Sig SSG 3000 308 ) for our little corner of paradise... JP.

If i compare to the Mcmillan of my custom 6.5 Cre, i see no much difference, this look like a very quality stock, time will tell but i'd bet it will be as performant as the Mcmillan, the grip of the Sig is better at my taste the checkrest is sturdy and comfy... JP.

Nice rifle Caramel!

You'll be happy to know that they can do much better than that still.

Here's my factory 5-shot group:

And my real-life 100m 5-shot group using factory Federal Premium 168gr:

I opted for a Vortex Viper PST FFP 6-24x on mine

Those rifles are a very well kept secret, i am pretty sure, that kind of performance wont be to hard to reach with such a quality rifle, this is nice shooting and the rifle is just gorgeous... JP.

Holy crow! I might have to bite the bullet and order one of these puppies! Damn tack drivers from the look of it!

True, upon recieving it as soon as i opened the rifle case i got a strong smell of tack driving odor... Awsome... JP.

I picked up one of the last ones in Canada with a McMillan stock. Doesn't like the Fed 175gr SMKs too much (3/4" groups), Fed 168gr SMK are around 1/2". Norma Diamond 168gr are the real shooters. I am not loading my own cause I suck at it. I've gotten it out to 870yds so far, shoots consistent, but no pics over 500 meters to share.

5 shots at 100yds, Norma Diamond 168gr

3 shots at 500m, Fed 168gr

Lovin' it so far...

Look like a solid .35 MOA at 500 metres... Great group... JP.
