Look what came in the mail

The standard club is the same but cheaper, but packaged in bulk 500rd tins.
Got mine from Hirsch precision way over on the right coast. Peter is a great guy to deal with.

I tried several of Lapua's offerings and found the Club shot almost as good and definately better than some of the much more expensive offerings. The lube on the club seems different (not as heavy) as on other Lapua ammo.

Well the Lapua worked Great!!! I mostly shot my 10/22, went throught about 50 rounds of it in all and had an absolutely Awsome time!!! This is the best ammo I have tried in my 10/22 yet. Some of you may be fermiliar with the USBR target. This target has a 10 ring that is .1 in diameter and has 25 bulls in all. To shoot a 10, your shot has to touch the 10 ring. If you cover the 10ring completely, you score a 10X. I tried one of these targets and shot a 250-8x, my best score ever with the 10/22. Out of my last 7 shots, 5 of them were X's. This ammo is very good.

I tried a group or two at 25 yards. One measured about .175 and the other about .15. My group at 50 yards was about .25 but a flyer opened it up (this flyer was definately my fault) to about .4.

5000 rds of Lapua.

Over the past couple of days I have recieved (bought) 1 case or 5000 rounds of Lapua superclub and I recieved a Bushnell 3200 5-15 that I traded (thanks Scott). I got the Lapua superclub for my "Valmet finnish lion" benchrest gun and the scope to go on the custom 10/22. I am a happy camper. And i should have a Marlin 2000L coming not long from now.

Sorry, but I only count 4500 in the truncated pyramid and 4000 in the box. Hope you didn't get rooked.

Well in the pyramid, the other brick was in my range box and I was too lazy to go get it so I just go the picture with 4500 rounds :D. In the box, the lid is blocking the other 2 bricks.

Not Exactly sure. My guess whould be that it is either the powder burning or the lube. They could have put something in the powder for it to smell like that. Or like you said, it could be the lube.

I have also recently recieved a couple bricks of Lapua Super Club ammo, and had a chance to try it out......my reaction? "AMAZING!!!, best ammo so far in my rifle..... consistency!!!! No FLYERS..I love it!!!."
