Wasn't expecting it to arrive until tomorrow but the Postman delievered my Stag 10 308 today! Looks quality to me. Had a BCL 102 that I sold before I shot it and based on visual inspection and overall "feel" of the rifle I'm glad I did! Keeping it very simple. Changed out the factory stock to a B5 Enhanced Sopmod, Geissele Charging handle, Burris XTR II 1-8x in a Geissele mount and will be swapping in a Geissele SSA to finish it off. Hope to shoot it in the next week or so.

Think I’ll keep the stag hand guard. Unless it doesn’t feel nice in the hand. Maybe change out the charging handle and at some point a different bcg
 
I didn't think I'd like the handgaurd based on pictures as well but it is quite nice in person. I had an SLR Rifleworks rail that I had bought for a BCL102 and this one isn't lacking in terms of how well it is machined and how it feels. I personally would have preferred a 13.5-14" rail instead of 16" but that just comes down to taste. I'm goint to be testing it out with Norinco surplus ball, Hirtenberger ball and Federal Power Shock soft points...haha so by no means match ammo but rather the affordable stuff I shoot most.
 
Thursday delivery for mine! I’m hoping I like the handguard enough to not change it out. The slr and Midwest industries handguard are very nice. Also like the jp signature forend but I need rail on top for iron sights

Ya the JP front sight rail is extra and is like 50 bux!! crazy talk!! LOL
I ended up making my own short rail for mounting the front sight and have another longer section I need to radius for a front handgrip mount and possibly room for a tac-light.

I'm guessing your BCL 102 was "FDE"? I have the same B5 stock in Coyote as well for my "FDE" BCL 102. A much closer match to BCL Brown/taupe than the FDE was.
 
Check your screws are all tight before you hit the range, especially the 2 hex screws that secure the Gas Block to the Barrel. There have been numerous cases of loose screws leading to movement of the Gas block, which in turn leads to insufficient gas flow. Just saying....

Ah okay well atleast one can install sights then on that jp forend. My forearms need picatinny rails too for extra accessories. Maybe I can attach extra plates to my arms when I’m in the gym lol!!!! I may need an aimpoint attached to stay on point lol
