CFO asked why im not a club member & told her Im just to poor to be able to cover the cost of membership right now. Best to get the guns first then start my membership so im not wasting money. The club i will be joining has lots of room as far as i know.
One of the members has invited me out to give them a go some day soon. I owe him big. He wants payed in ammo...

Very astute to already have your guns for when the range membership comes thru, then you're good to go!

NAA.

Their new tactic is the let more people get their pals and rpals then slow down approval time and flood the ranges with their people thus bogging down the memberships that we can have to actually use the ranges this on top of building and getting a gun range open can take two years now. Then there is their stopping stuff at the local level... They have learned that they can use our own money and buying power angst us. See they can let us have the guns and the stores all the ammo go on buy it but they are going to limit where and when we can shoot and start using Serra Club and all the tree huggers to stop us. Green Piece and PETA have people getting their PALS and hunter's certs then buying up tags and never using them. Serra Club is getting trails closed off to every one by pitting out door users against themselves. So what will happen is there will be 40,000 people wanting to use 7,000 people worth of range time over a year long stent that 33,000 people that need to be collectors till they get a range slot that will be going up and u in cost every year. Then CFOs will be bugging them and weeding them out stricter regs and BS.

So yah we can have our guns and all that they will drive our fear and push the price of our ammo up and then the rifles and the entire time making it so cost limiting to even shoot anything that we will put ourselves down.

The finish on it is great!!! Really happy with it!

Im actually planning on selling it. Only really wanted the 1911 and they were a pkg deal.
Just waiting for value estimate from Epps before it hits EE. Might Dura Coat the lower first if it wont affect the value.

Put a Hogue grip on it and you won't want to sell it.. :)

One legal run-around is to ask one of the member to request a borrowing permit from CFO. He will pick you up with the firearms, bring you to the range so you can use these toys. This is provided, the club allows non-members to shoot their own firearms under the supervision of a range officer or an active member. You renew this request as long as the club permits you to do so.

So the member that is taking me has to request the permit? I cant do it with his permission?

Yes that is correct, he will need all the info from your guns, serial numbers and your pal number etc. I got one last year for a friend that was waiting for LTATT we are both members at same club though so it wasnt an issue at club level.
Not sure how easily they issue them now but wasn't too much of deal last year.
