Cool find. It's a Winchester 62 Gallery Gun knock off. The blued ones in excellent shape sell for about $500-$550 used. Even if it looks to be unfired, it's not being bought from a store in retail packaging with receipt etc, so yours would have to be sold as "used" too. The stainless might fetch you a few bucks more though, as you don't see many of those.

If it was me, I'd shoot it for sure. It's not a particularly valuable gun, but it'll give you a lifetime of use, and I bet it's loads of fun to plink with.

I shot the blued version lots back in the day. It belonged to a cousin of mine and we raised hell with a huge gopher patch just outside Calgary.
That one was absolutely flawless and I was sold on getting one of my own.
About 4 years later I bought the first one I saw brand new off the shelf.
That one not so great. Never fed properly so back it went to the store it came from.
I’ve got an original 62A now and the design is great.

It’s going to my buddy I nicknamed peckerhead.
He dint think it fair I own two rimfire pumps and him nawt.

Funny thing is I just sent him a note saying Look’in Good Gun Shop is closed furr two weeks.

Good luck! I hear the slabs are biting like crazy!

I had one of those, though it had a shorter barrel. I could hit anything with that rifle. Within reason of course. Many a rabbit and grouse fell to that iron sighted, 22 long rifle only, tack driver. Sadly a friend fired a squib load out of it, and then followed it up with another round, not having realized he had fired a squib. It did not burst the barrel, but put a large bulge in it, which forever after ruined it's accuracy.

Is it the long barrel or the nifty little short barrel version? Rossi made a carbine version with, I think, a 16" (?) barrel. I was bidding on one in an auction a few years back... can't recall exactly what it sold for, but it was a decent buck. Somebody else wanted it more than I did.

I sure woodn't trade the old one for this.
Out of stawk anyways.

Curiuos oww the new ones take down?
Do they?

WTF is with the trigger guard?

They're in stock at other places, I just didn't want to give Cabelas free web traffic so I grabbed the first sponsor link I saw.

I don't think they're Takedown? I don't see it mentioned in the description. As for the trigger guard, looks to be plastic to me, so probably need that extra material so it's not extra fragile.

Not a lot of options for affordable pump action 22s, otherwise I wouldn't even give Rossi a 2nd look...

Took the lad out feeshin today.
He pewt awn awl dem life purrzerrvers in the boat.
He wuzz'int gonnah take any chanziss..............................Laugh2

All in gooder humur.

Thanks for the info Suther.

over the yrs I have had a couple Rossi guns, rifles and revolvers, Rossi was more of a distributor then a manufacture.
But back them ,they had good stuff, not as well done as the "real " ones.
They made a Colt diamond back that looked nice , but never felt like the real deal , but price wise as a good gun. this would have been 1980's I guess.

Bit worried you were gonna push him overboard was he? Lol

More likely worried about the crazy driver dumping him.
I went boating on waterbed matrass one time , in the damn damn, not the house, hard to get any speed up.
wife took a picture. kids hid it on me.
