Thanks Longshot... looks great ..

Damn man! You better get your money back. He took that nice smooth bolt knob and put all them little bumps on it!!! Seriously though, that is one fine piece of work you've got there. Kudos to Longshot, and thanks for sharing - good to see people posting (closeup) shots of the good work being done close to home...

hsld.

You have to talk to Longshot for pricing......

Ended up doing wheeling and dealing for stuff so .....

Sure does improve the handling from the smooth CZ bolt handle with the sharp end

(Yes its the same bolt.... he also parked the entire thing so it ain't shiny :D )

These dark lines, is that where the material was added with a welding process?

Must be.

Typically steel oxidizes and hence decarbonizes near the edge of a weld and the subsequent demarcation finishes darker than the surrounding steel.

Nice job though. Very clean and true lines.

Thanks guys!
Yes.Keep in mind different materials parkerize differently. Some darker, some lighter. And the welds are almost never not visible a little bit.

Al,
What would you suggest to improve the gnurling?I left it not so sharp on purpose as I found the sharper it was,the harder it was on my hand.

As allways your words of "wisdom" are greatly appreciated.

Win/64 what do you care what I think? It's not like it's your gun is it?

But I'll explain.

First, the quality of the work is excellent, that's not my beef.
I do not care for the style and the huge knurling... that's all. To me the original, smooth bolt handle would be a lot better to cycle for rapid shooting.

Later.
