Lookin for a 338 lapua

Im lookin for a new gun had a lapua sold it really wished I didn't , Should I build a custom or does anyone have one , strickly a hunting rifle

Desert Tech makes a nice 338 and I find with it being a bullpup gives it a huge advantage over a conventional rifle for hunting.

The Weatherby MK-V Accumark might come close.

I had a sako m995 338 lapua just over 7lbs braked not really that bad . should never had sold that gun

The Accumark comes in at 9 pounds, which is significantly heavier than your SAKO, the barrel is a 28" #3 contour which may account for some of the additional weight. The MK-V Deluxe, the wood stock model, in .340 has a 26" #2 barrel, and comes in at 8 pounds.

I'd go with the Accumark rather than search out another TRG-S.
