looking 4 recipe 4 a 300rum

What kind of velocities are you getting out of that with the '25 Stubble? I currently use R-22, but its getting impossible to find....Tens of pounds of R-25 available locally though...

I have had excellent success with Hornady's 180 grain Interbond. The Interbond is similar (yet cheaper) than Nosler Ballistic Tips and shoots more accurately than Nosler's AccuBond.

CCI Magnum primers and 83.0 grains of IMR 4350 gives 3170 fps with 1" groups at 100m. Another successful load with 180's was 88.0 grains of IMR 7828 SSC (Super Short-Cut) with 3035 fps. Both loads have a Standard Deviation of under 9.0

The IMR 4350 load with the Hornadys stopped a griz in it's tracks last year.

My own rifles produce 3360fps and 3380fps with a maximum load of R-25 behind the 180gr TSX.As for reloader 22,I just bought a few pounds last week, and I did not take all that he had in stock. The 180gr tsx averages around 5/8" in my rifles at 100 yards, and the 180gr Ballistic Tip does sub 1/2".

The Interbond is similar (yet cheaper) than Nosler Ballistic Tips and shoots more accurately than Nosler's AccuBond.

Where I buy my bullets,I can buy 100 -.308" ballistic tips for about $13 less than 100-.308" interbonds. However, the SST is cheaper than the ballistic tip.

My 300RUM like a RL19 behind a 180grain Nosler Partition as for exact load I load pretty hot so I would start at what nosler books says and move up from there.
