I am looking for info on parts to turn a m14 norinco into a m25. can anyone point me to a site that has parts needed to make this happen. I have the stock figured out but things like the top handguard i dont. as well as anyother details i may not know about.

cheers

The top handguard is the least of your problems.

Are you wanting "looks like an m25", or "shoots like an m25"?

There are members on the board who have done one or the other(sometimes even both). looks like will be much cheaper then shoots like, and doing both is going to be painful on the pocketbook. Would be a sweet rifle though.

well i think i will do both. i know it will not be cheap but i will spend a few bucks now to get the stock and maybe the barrel and work on the rest for the winter.

Well, if you have a stock the next pressing issues will be:

Barrel (may as well buy a krieger if you want to do this right)
USGI bolt
Smith Enterprises mount is pretty close to authentic and probably the best you'll get

If you want to go all the way I'd be looking at a USGI trigger group too and get it tuned up.

Good luck jonesie! Post pics of the build!
