Looking at a Universal M1

Need it like a second Ahole, however. I'd say wood's about 85-90% condition. Metal is about 70+% condition (minor pitting in receiver area). Is there any special issues with universal? And roughly what's one worth in the cond listed? I know pics would help, but. I can't give what I don't have..SORRY

There is a good website on these with a ton of info, consensus seems to be that they are a POS however I have one that works perfectly and shoots good groups. If its for a price you can live with I'd say go for it.

I have a very early universal, and it's all pretty much, if not all USGI parts. I'm not sure when, but they started producing their own parts and they had a few issues. If you do a little bit of research you will see the differences. Do you know the serial number?
