just turned 20, i own a 7mm rifle already but am looking at getting my first shotgun. Anyone have any suggestions on a good reliable first shot gun

Cheers.

Check out the EE. Used Ithaca's are pretty cheap and solid guns. I have a 56 year old one that works crisp and smoothly and it was no safe queen I assure you. Remington and Mossberg also make some pretty solid guns. Is there a spacific purpose you want it for or are you just looking to get something that's an all round gun?

If you're right handed a good old Rem870. Lefty's are haedre to find. Mossberg 500's or 590's are pretty much ambidextrous (I'm a lefty and have a 590). Ithaca 37 types and Browning BPS's bottom feed/eject and are good for either handed shooters. I once had a BPS Upland Special and should have never sold it. :(
