Looking at NP-40 'CZ-85' copy. The good and the bad????

Please contact Marstar. The ad says 10. It should be, or send it back. 8 is not 10. A 15 shot 9mm mag should hold 10, maybe 11 rounds of .40, so there should be no modification at all.

I contacted Marstar, they are now out of the 10rd 40cal mags. They expect a new shipment in Dec. and will be sending me the correct ones for free. :)

Am I correct in assuming that the major difference between the genuine CZ and the Norinco is in the finishing? And if so, is it possible to smooth out the rough parts?

The Norinco NZ series handguns are some of the best finished of their entire product line. As for how well they shoot and such, plenty of opinions have already been aired.

There are plenty of folks who have 'smoothed out' the actions on their Norincos. We recommend running a few hundreds rounds through one first to see how it 'breaks in' before reaching for the tools.

Have a look at the Norinco NZ series here

Hope this helps,

- Peter

I handled a friend's CZ knockoff, for a Norc the finish was really nice, pointed well, functions well, no complaints.

PS: peter I like the new look on the site
