hey guys well i'm in the market for buying a new spotting scope..
i been cruising the bird forums a bit and seeing what they say about the good, bad, and the ugly. since there picky on details
i'm in the market for a 80+MM and a 20x60 magnifaction.
ones that i have looked at are the
swarvo 20x60-80 Hd and non hd models
zeiss 20x60-85
voretex razor hd 20x60-85 .
kowa 20x60x88 .
i have found a 2 yr old like new cond, swar sts hd80 for 2350 with cover but i have also found a new vortex raz hd kit for around 2000 with tripod, cover, window mount and a camera adapter ..
is the swarvo worth the extra 1500 than the others (thats bran new price ) and the extra 1000 for zeiss and kowa or is the vortex hd a solid contender, just doesnt have the pricey name tag yet ??
I'll be using it for open country hunting , lots of hours glass at the rack of dawn and at dusk. so that why the 80+ is a must .
just wondering if any ones had these side by side or own one or the other and tested them out in mother nature
thanks
