I am looking for some reloading data for 147 grain FMJ's in a 9mm Luger. I have w231 and unique on hand but I understand they might be a little bit fast for a 147gr. I am going to try to track down some alliant Power pistol, but its as rare as hens teeth right now.

Any data would be great!

WW231 works perfect for 9mm loads. Fast burning powder like RedDot, WW231, TiteGroup, Bullseye, all are suitable. By way of comparison, I have used 4.0 grains of WW231 behind a cast 124g RN lead with good success. Some guns will find 4.0 a little light though. And keep in mind that even though your powder measure tries to consistently drop the required load, it will not do so 100% of the time.
Bottom line is that WW231 works fine with 147grain bullets. Here's my advice: 147grain cast lead in a 9mm case should draw a minimum of 3.5 grains of WW231. Start there and work your way up to 3.7-3.8grains....

3.2-3.8 titegroup. 1.150 oal

Gonna try something like that next week, wanted WSF but its hard to find apparently so picked up titegroup. Any one else had any luck with Tight group and 147s ? I wouldn't mind a light load for the GF as well lol but I got a 1000 147s to use.
