Hello Friends

I've recently started trap shooting again after a five year hiatus. I used to shoot with my old 870 and mossberg 500.

Sold the shotguns and I'm now looking to get my first a o/u. I've fired a few brownings and berettas and enjoyed them. However I'm not excited about spending that kind of money. In a perfect world I would like to find some sort of sporter model that I can shoot trap with and maybe some upland birds down the road.

I know there are a lot of experienced shooters on here and I was hoping someone could recommend a good reliable o/u that won't break the bank. I was hoping to spend between $1000-$1500 on this particular firearm.

Cheers

Your requirements are exactly what mine were.

After some research, I picked up a Fabarm Elos C, O/U, 12 guage, 30" barrel from the Shooting Edge.

Quality is very high. It's been flawless so far. Price was $1,300.

I couldn't be happier.

I've read on a few uk forums that the fabarm is a decent firearm. I'm looking into it. What's the word on the cz over unders?

I like the CZ's, decent guns for the money.
If I were going to shoot high volume I would lilkley go with a FAIR Carrera or ar another gun that was bilt as a dedicated target gun, but for the weekend shooter the CZ does just fine.
OH- high volume to me is more than two flats of ammo of ammo a week.
