Looking for 30-06 load data

Oodles of good loads around for a 30-06 with 180 grain bullets.
4350 powder, either variety, is a classic powder.
Start at about 54-55 grains and if you know how to detect if your pressure is rising, you can go to 57-58 grains.

My .30.06 pet load is 56.5 gr of h4350.
I run a 165 gr nosler accubond and are pretty accurate.
Going to see if a moose likes it in October.

I've worked with three 30-06 and the 55 to 56 grains of IMR 4350 under a 180 grains bullet is great. With the 165 grains range I found 56 to 58 to be the more accurate.

I trade 100fps for sub-moa groups anytime and if I want to push 180 grains at 2800++ velocity, I'll get a 300 mag.

For the 150 grainers, IMR 4064 is a classic in the 30-06.

Hunting Load: RE-22/ 56.0grs. 2700fps/ 2914ft. lbs.

From the Sierra Manual.
There are not many .30-06's that will not shoot the 180.
Start with your medium-slow powders ( 4350, 4831, Re 19 or Re22) but consult your reloading books. Start safe, play safe, and end safe!

30/06

Ramshot Hunter works pretty well with 180's. Been trying Ramshot Big Game with 150's and am very pleased.

Google Ramshot powder , they have load data
