looking for 300 H&H

I have been wanting one for years to compliment my M-70 375 H&H. I was in a gun shop a couple weeks back and came across 100 300 H&H new brass at a reasonable price so I bought it. Still had no M-70 300 H&H to go with it, that issue was solved a few days later when one came up on the EE that was what I was looking for at a decent price. Now I need dies and new scope.
These little trips into gun shops just to look around can get costly as one thing leads to another. I have no regrets though.

It's true but at the time they were just another rifle and the owner wanted a few more fps. Same goes for cut stocks and actions with extra holes drilled, all mostly done to a near new rifle that the owner was trying to get set up just how he wanted it.

I recently tore one apart that had been rechambered to 300 Wby.

I would have done it too at the time, kinda like Ackleying a 280, seems to be a lot of that going on lately...:)

It's funny how improving some cases is OK and others are not to be messed with.

The 300 Wby is just an improved H&H with a longer throat.

I have a very nice Pre War 300 H&H to 300 Wby barrel if anyone wants one.
