Not really sure.
I need to feed my .31 percussion gun. Looking for some hornady .310 round balls or preferably .320 buckshot.

Anyone know of dealers in Canada who have some in stock? Anyone else use 0 buckshot in their .31 percussion revolvers?

Thanks.

The Hornady 32 cal round balls are .315

Wholesale Calgary lists them in stock

If you have a local gun store and they deal either with Korth (Hornady importer) or Hornady (directly), then can order in all you want.

I get my stock from Korth and as of six weeks ago or so they had everything from 32 thru 58 cal in stock in both size options (if Hornady makes them - so .490 and .495 as an example for 50 cal).

Nah they don't, he said they are merging out of black powder for the most part and told me to go online.

Anyway, thanks to some on here they recommended going with The Bullet Barn. They have .312 round balls which will be perfect!

seems a bit small for a pocket colt repro, but see how they go. What do your cylinder mouths measure out at? I'd want at least 3-4 thou oversize personally, and wouldn't worry about 5.

It's an original Hopkins and Allen Pocket. It's a bit undersized compared to some it seems. They look to usually be around .315-.320?

Update: should have checked the hardness of their lead alloy. Got my round balls in, they are way to hard of an alloy. Their site says its a BH of 25! :(

Dont wish to subject my old girl to that kind of abuse.

what do the cylinder mouths measure out at? go a couple thou bigger. But yeah, that a bit hard for what you want for sure! Hope you get her shooting. Sorry for the bad advice, thought you where shooting a colt. Dad got an old colt pocket in rough shape a while back and it took a bit to get it shooting consistently. all the chambers are slightly different diameters due to a hard life and not enough cleaning.
