Looking for .32 ACP in Ottawa area

Hi,

Perhaps a fellow CGNer can help me out? I have recently purchased a Walther PPK in .32 ACP/7.65 Browning. I would like to purchase some ammunition to feed my new purchase. I would like to buy it in the Ottawa/Gatineau area if possible. I have checked LeBarons, they don't carry .32 ACP (and are generally over priced anyway).

If necessary, I will buy online. I know Wolverine carries .32 ACP, but I would welcome the names of any other suppliers too.

I picked up a box at Sail at the trainyards a couple of weeks ago. I think it was around $28. They dont sell handguns but they do carry pistol ammo.

I find .25acp and .32acp are the only handgun calibres that sail consistently has in stock, 9mm, 38, 357, 40 and 45 are hit and miss.

Just my luck, 'cause I don't have 12.6! Lol.

Enjoy that PPK, hope to bump into you at the range one day so I can see one in person!

SAIL carries a lot of the odd ball calibres becuase they are the ones that don't sell.

They will get a few cases in of 45ACP and 9mm, but they will be sold out within 48hrs.

I've talked with the guys who work there and it seems to be a pretty common theme that the "buyers" in Laval are rather anti-gun, hence no Restricted or "fun-guns" in the store.

Not a bad group of guys though.

When I asked they just said they where a hunting store and you can't hunt with restricted firearms. Also why they don't carry reloading supplies. I have seen a few "fun" guns in SAIL from time to time; tactical shotguns, bright coloured .22's, and others. They just don't deal with restricted stuff.

I have been in there a few times and seen .32 ACP. 9mm on the other hand has become tougher to find in Ottawa lately. I guess I'm really going to have to start handloading my own to ensure supply!
