i was told some good charges a while ago for using bullseye in a .357 behind a 158gr hornady XTP, but i forgot them:( i did a google search and on another forum a guy said speer 11 lists 6.6- 7.1gr charge of bullseye with 158gr tip. has anyone on here done any loads with bullseye and what was your charge and experiance with it?

I would tend to think of bullseye as a cast bullet target load kind of powder. If you're going to be using a xtp, might as well use a better powder and kick 'em in the arse.

i would agree with saskgunowner, use the jacketed stuff for full house loads of lilgun or h110.

but for a 158gr LSWC bullet alliant lists 4.8gr max charge using bullseye. interesting to see how much the legal team gets involved with the load data.
