Anyone know where I can find some .375 solids for mail order or in Saskatchewan ? Preferably hornady 300grn DGS but will try anything I'm looking to work up some boulder busters for my H&H to have fun with this summer.

I see barnes has had to stop selling theirs as they are on a list of the us federal government as being potentially "armour piercing" . Barnes says they have appealed and are confident they will be given exemption. It is on their website if you want to get the first hand account. Good luck in your search.

Wholesale sports in Saskatoon had some Barnes awhile ago, haven't paid much attention for awhile. Those ones were the new roundnose and that reduced my interest even more but they would be just as good for breaking rocks. Prophet River could probably set you up with North Forks.

We just placed a large order with Northfork if we dont have what you need already.

I'm not at home and couldn't remember if I had any .375 solids left or not, so I had to look at a pic of my loading bench I posted a while back.

Looks like I have a box of 300 gr Barnes Banded Solids, but now I'm not sure its a full box or not. As for shooting rocks, or any solid object, doing so with a non-deforming bullet, particularly at close range can be hazardous to your health. I once shot at a 1" thick steel plate from 10 yards with a 400 gr solid loaded in my .416 Rigby, and was rewarded with a bloody shin. I was sure the bullet would penetrate, but the bullet had other ideas, shattered into tiny fragments that came back with a certain amount of enthusiasm. Another time, shooting 350 gr Xs from the same rifle, I hit a plate at 100 yards, the plate fell over as seemed reasonable under the circumstances, the bullet inverted and thimble shaped, with the rifling on the inside of the thimble, it screamed back to the firing line and hit the ground with a thud beside me, which then proceeded to burn my fingers when I picked it up and played hot potato for a few minutes. Shooting knock down plates with a big rifle was off my list after that. Rocks are worse yet, because there are so many different surface angles, there is no way of predicting where the bullet will go. I can send you some bullets when I get home, PM me if you're interested, but if you go rock killin, proceed carefully.

Barnes still lists 'em on their site. Kind of like to see a copper/zinc bullet trying to penetrate an Abrams' armour though.
Nosler makes 'em too.
Try Epp's.

Thanks for the replies I must have missed the ones from tradex and thanks for the cautionary stories I was thinking of filling some five gallon pails with concrete and shooting from 100+ yards. When I bought the rifle in march I tested it out with 270 grn soft points and turned some paving stones into dust so I thought I would see what kind of penetration I could get with solids maybe I should use logs instead?

$92.49 for a box of 50!

Another option is reloadinginternational.com. I purchased some .375 bullets earlier this year, including Hornady 270gr SP-RP, Barnest 270gr TSX, and a box each of 300gr DGS and DGX. Pretty good selection and prices. Sent in my import permit certificate on Feb 1, and he got the export permit April 5. I received the bullets a couple weeks later.
