Some people on here seem to be under the impression that ammo mfgs are going to stop making 7.62x39 and it will "dry up." Someone even said .223 would be the next to "dry up."
The companies are making money on this stuff!! And, no offense CanadaAmmo.com, but so are you every time you mention "short supply." A crisis is your best friend. I mean no disrespect... I'd be grinning too if I owned Canada Ammo or any other firearms retail shop. Every president in the U.S. who mentions gun control becomes the gun and ammo retailers best friend over night, but then it fades again.
Short supplies on ammo will not last. 7.62x39 and .223 is the currency of military units worldwide. They drive the demand as much or more than the civilians, and mfgs will supply. Of course price will go up; it always does. Triple since 2004? You'd get the same return on gold over that time period, except that's not as fun.
I wish I could buy this. I really like the Norc ammo with my SKS, but I have just bought too much lately! 9mm and a SR9 have filled up the credit card for ammo/guns purchases for the time being. I will just have to avoid shooting what norc 7.62 I have left until surplus stocks are back up!
isn't that wild? lol sorry man I was in the same boat, it sucks when there is short supply. next time I'm going to buy a few skids never again....... never again...
