Looking for 9mm 1911 mags

Hi, i have bought an STI 9mm ranger ll recently, came with 4x mec-gar mags and 4x tripp cobra mags.
I know some swear by the cobra, it must work well in some platforms, but is working very bad in mine. I will soon sell them for someone they know it actually works.
Thing is, i have the hardest of luck finding either 10 rounders mec-gar 9mm mags, and/or dawson precision mags. I am looking for ones with the plastic baseplate.
Anyone have pointers where to look? I have browsed many american sites without any luck, seems like there is a stock rupture on these.
 
Wow, you know what, my current ''mec-gar'' mags have the same logo on them as these metalform ones lol, i think i may have these!
My base pad just does not say metalform on it.

I will search the legalese in a bit, but has anyone tried ordering like 12 of these from the states? Confused about 100$-500$ limits here.
 
I am scared of trying them, as everyone we're saying fine and dandy things on cobras, im lucky i did not order 12 as i would of been out by a lot.
From what i see the high end level ipsc classic division are using dawson precision, metalform/mecgar are very close clones to the DP design
 
$500 limit, no issue with metalform mags from Brownells, ordered a bunch of .40 and 9mm just a few weeks ago and had them in less then a week. I'm my guns anyway they sit higher up, likely why they work so well. No play at the bottom of the mag at all in my flush fit mags....nice and tight lol
 
Nicely priced too, i will order the most i can with 500$ (i will throw in a 10/22 trigger group in there for project ;)
