Looking for a 28 Gauge SxS

Was wondering if anyone can help me find a higher end 28g SxS for sale (pref. 28"-30" barrels). I would like to keep the price under 5 thousand if possible. I live in the Hamilton Ont. area but I am willing to travel if the gun intrigues me.

Fausti out of Italy are very nice Anson and Deely boxlocks made on their own size 28 gauge frame, you can even get it in a combo 28/410 with 2 sets of barrells on the 28 gauge frame for around your price point. The other option is try and find someone who has imported a custom shotgun out of Spain, as you get more options for your money, best of luck dale in T-Bay

For a new gun in that price range I would call Will Bilozir (bilozir.net). He carries Basque and Italian shotguns, surely one will fit your needs.

For a used gun I think that the best solution is to shop in the U.S. and import into Canada. The market for mid grade 28 gauge SxS's here is very small.

For around a grand you can get a CZ sxs in 28gauge. Kills em just as dead as a more expensive shotgun. FS
