looking for a AR Barrel

i just got mine lastwk, atrs . $300 11.5" heavy dpms barrel
 
ATRS would either have it or be able to make it quickly enough. Same for Dlask in all liklihood. Not sure if anyone else would stock that config at present.
 
RRA (Questar) and Armalite (Wolverine Supplies) both make midlength uppers, not sure if they have M4 ramps or not. The ramps aren't necessarry IMO.

ETA: Unless of course you already have an upper with the M4 ramps. Your barrel would need the ramps as well as it would be possible for the rounds to get hung up under a normal barrel extension.

I had reliability issues with my rifle type ramps: I have an armalite M15 early models, one out of 15 bullets would get caught with the tip of the bullet a few thousands of inchs just below the ramp. The bullet then get pushed inside the casing by the momentum of the slide. Now, i fixed this with the dremmel but now i have another type of stoppage.

So i recongnized that i screwed up in the first place and decided to start over again. I am competing with my AR and need a reliable set-up. It is already tough to change mag under stress every five rounds, i am tired of dealing with stoppages on top of that.

I never heard of Centurion arms? Do they make good products?

I didn't say that - no reading between the lines required. I'm a BCM/LMT/Colt/KAC guy myself. They're a niche builder, not really comparable to the big manufacturers.

You appear to be on a bit of a tear right now - are you stuck in sarcasm/asshat mode?? That's usually my pruview...

Centurion arms used to get their barrels from FN.

Now they won't tell who it is.

Funny enough, their barrel profiles look exactly like what the barrel profiles Daniel Defence offer.

I guess you have to look up the marketing on the barrel to tell - I will stick with Noveske in case you want a FN CHF for sure.

So you're the opinion police :rolleyes:??? Educate yourself.

Highest grade components, assembled with precision, one of very few 100% accurate renditions of the mk12 Mod0 out there, 800+ mixed rounds over the course of an afternoon/evening with multiple .5-.75" groups - certainly enough to know that it wasn't an accident - as I stated "one of the best". And certainly not the first, nor the 50th AR derivitive that I have been in contact with... :cool:
