Plain and simple, I'm working on a 7.5 PDW build. I still need to buy a BCG. The upper is aero precision and the barrel is NEA. I read a million different reviews on NEA rifles, so I don't know what to think. Anyways, sfrc has NEA BCG for under 200$ which is within my budget. Before I buy this, does anyone have any suggestions on another brand available under 250$ that would be a better buy? Cheers

Saskatoon Gun Works has Aero phosphate coated heavy BCG's most of the time for $169, they are currently out of stock but seem to restock regularly. I plan to pick one up.

I ended up going with the Stag arms FA BCG. It was just what I was looking for, at the right price. I've read good things about stag so it was an easy choice. Thanks guys!

The only BCG's I would recommend in country right now are LMT (IMHO the very best BCG in Canada), BCM (whenever OST get them back in stock), Daniel Defense and Stag Arms.

I own both LMT and DD. The DD has a smoother coating. The carbon and oil can almost be wiped clean. The texture of the LMT is rougher and not as easy to clean. Other than that they are both milspec as far as I can tell. I am interested in trying OSTs AAC. I believe it has a teflon-like coating or self lubricating or whatever the deal is. Can't remember off the top of my head. Looks interesting though.

I too was tempted to pickup one of those AAC BCGs but why does it look like the bolt is phosphate finished? I doesn't have the typical NiB look.

colt, lmt, dd, bcm, spikes, stag
all very good, pick your flavor, bcm is on the pricey side IMO

wmd too expensive
sharps reliabolt too expensive
jp full mass too expensive

I believe that distinction belongs to this bad boy :
