Looking for a bolt action .22 target rifle, opinions wanted.

Don't got one of those, but just about picked up a Marlin on ee a few days ago. They are both the same , they all shoot great.:D
I find my Anschutz sporter a bit light for tight groups, you really gotta hold onto it. Anyway congrats on the new purchase
I will post a list of LR ammo that were the best shooters out of a 52 win, 10-22, and 63 win later this eve, interesting which brands got top honors. :)

Congrats on the gun :).

About half a year ago, I picked up a Valmet finnish lion with a leupold scope (24x40: BR24), $100 of ammo, and proffesional peep sites, for $1200. The gun was owned and worked on by Henry estlin. It was glass bedded and i know that the trigger was worked on down to about 1.5-2oz :D. I will always have that gun!

I have a Brno #4 that I purchased in the '90s - in new condition, best group at 25m was just under .3 - basically one hole and not a very big one - with me shooting and iron sights (peeps) that's nearly a miracle. So it gets my highest recomendation. I went out and put a B&L 6-24 on it.

If you find one of these .. make sure you buy it. Very accurate, and priced well below what it is worth. Will give an Annie a run for the money without a doubt.

:D
