I have a sentimental old single shot Premier brand single shot .22 that belonged to my grand father and I’m in need of a bolt for it. The one in it is so warn out the trigger wont hold it back. Id really like to fix it up. More research shows its the same as a Mossberg Model B

Once again, a picture is worth a thousand words when it comes to these inquiries. POST A PICTURE.

Many of these "Brand" guns were sold by Sears, Eatons, Western Field and other hardware and mail order firms. These firms did not make their own firearms, but did have major manufacturers make them and stamp them with whatever was wanted.

Winchester, Savage, Marlin and Hi-Standard to name a few makers, all supplied these "Brand" rifles to others. If you post a picture or two, maybe someone can recognize the rifle, and suggest to you a maker and type. Pictures of markings help a lot.

I have checked my House Conversion database, and the only Premier listed is a pump action .22 made by Stevens, based on their Model 29A rifle. The other markings on your rifle, (if any) will help identify it, and possibly suggest a similar model where you can get your parts off.

Did some more research,,, its a Mossberg Model B

The Mossberg Model B was sold as Wards Premier - single shot (as there was also a repeater) and as a Taylor Trappers Special. It was introduced in 1930 and made until 1932. Some had the 2 piece bolt and some the one piece bolt. Note this referred to the bolt body.

The one I am looking for is actually the premier you speak of but mine is made by mossberg and is a model B with the 2 piece bolt. Savage made a premier as well that is also a two piece bolt from the same era but it is different than mine.
