Hey guys I recently got Tapco stock for my Chinese SKS. I want to get a budget scope that ain't .22 scope that will fly with a shot of 7.62x39. Any good suggestions?
What’s your budget, that might help people give you some options. For example I’ve got a Bushnell banner 3-9x40 on an Sks and it works nicely, iirc I picked it up at Walmart for $99.
Some of the Cabela Covenant scopes are pretty good bang for your buck, depending on your budget. Athlon is another brand that is good value as well. In my opinion.
I would suggest you to buy scope with parallax adjustment and at least from any quality brand like Bushnell or Vortex. Reticle focal plane or MIL vs MOA is all your personal choice. The best budget scope as per me is Bushnell AR and it is on sale right now at go tenda. https://www.gotenda.com/shop/optic/...cope-bdc-reticle-target-turrets-bus-ar945184/
Riflescopes lasts long if you keep them with care and If you can spend little bit more, nothing can beat Vortex Diamondback.
You’ll need a full length rail like the magwedge to mount a full length scope, it has a built in shell deflector. Mounting an optic on the dust cover doesn’t tend to work as it won’t hold zero.
