I would like help finding a new powder to use loading .243 win with 62gr varmint grenade. I currently only use IMR 4350 and have trouble maintaining accuracy after a few shots until I clean it. I was wondering if it was caused by how dirty to powder is burning in my barrel. The patches come out black for the first few and it takes 20 or more patches to get it any where near clean. I don't have problems with other IMR powders in other calibers.

I'm going to play the devil's advocate here. It is not the fault of IMR 4350, per se;
My experience leads me to believe that IMR 4350 is too slow for that light bullet in the 243.
Move to a bit faster burning powder. When pressures rise up to proper levels, the powder will burn cleaner.
I would be reaching for IMR 4895, 4064, 4320 or Reloder 15.
Regards, Eagleye.

+ 1 with what Eagleye said, 4350 is too slow for your light weight bullet, I use 4350 with my 100 grain .243 bullets and it burns cleanly.

Go to Hodgdon's website http://www.hodgdon.com/ and get your reloading data for free for your .243.

You will see the following powder listed for the 62 grain bullet.
(slowest to fastest below)
H414, WW760, IMR 4007 SSC, H380, CFE 223, Varget, IMR 4320, ,IMR 4064, IMR 4895, H4895, IMR 8208 XBR, IMR 3031, Benchmark.
