Looking for a crimped primer solution!

I use a 3/8"ounter sink ($5.75 at the hardware store). I clamp my electric drill in a vice and cycle the brass from one bucket to another. Very fast on all kinds of military brass. I light kiss will cut off the crimp.

Exactly what I do, but Princess auto had small drill presse's on sale for $70.00 so guess what I did......

RCBS VLD inside chamfer tool, set up on the case prep unit, but also able to be mounted in a drill. Can also be used to chamfer ... LOL.

Dillon Super Swage 600 is the way to go. Bought mine from Henry Nierychlo. Best service by the way.

Very easy to set up and only takes seconds to swage each case. Did 1000 cases in an evening.

I bought one too and I like. Can't do manual or don't want to do power drill with drill bit method. Too noob and afraid I'll mess up. I only did 200 so far and the 600 is fool proof. I find that a few primers are a little tough to get in. I'm still a noob when it comes to how much swage is required. I guess it wouldn't hurt to adjust the super swage a little bit deeper to get them all, correct? I'm reloading 223.

I use the Dillon Super Swage too, but...
I think I'll have to mod it like this guy did..

Damn, I'd been wanting to find this mod again. thx for the post. I think the inventor may have posted here before. I guess a string and some rubber bands would do the trick and lots of tweaking would do the trick. I gotta get on that soon. :)

Trying to reload PMC brass, and cant with the crimped primer that was previously installed.

Looking for the official store-bought solution, and the hillbilly solution to find the most economical means of fixing 1000pcs of brass.

Ive seen the Dillon Super Swage 600, and seeing if theres a cheaper solution.

cheers,
Chris

Cetainly not cheaper, my Dillon 1050 swages the primer pocket at the second station.
