I'm looking for a flashlight for my Benelli Nova 3 Tactical.
I won it last year in a SFRC bumper sticker raffle so I decided to upgrade it a little since it was essentially free.
Ordered a GG&G 2 shot tube extension and M-Lok barrel clap in November of 2025, just got it and installed it today.
Shotty only has m-lok and I don't really want to have to use a picatinny to m-lok adapter.
Any ideas?

Following for interest… I’ve passed on these because of this exact reason.
Could not find an elegant solution to get a light on it.
I would like a remote momentary switch.
There are a lot of lights that use M-lok but the switches seem to all use picatinny.
And the few adapters that I've found for the switches don't ship to Canada.
This would be perfect but they don't ship to Canada

SureFire Scout lights come with both MLOK and Picatinny mounts. You could get something like the DS00 or UE tailcap (I’d recommend the former since it’ll have push button for backup) and get a tape switch to the forend, just position it so it lead is less of a snag risk.

Magpul makes MAG617 which can mount the previous generation SureFire switches to MLOK but is quite long, but you could also just buy some heavy-duty Velcro and make it so you can easily remove the switch. SureFire also has newer switches that are MLOK. There are some aftermarket switches too that can mount to MLOK such as Unity Tactical AXON when you buy the adapter

Ended up going with the Streamlight ProTac Rail Mount 2.
Found one at a decent price.
I'm going to design and 3D print and M-Lok adapter for the remote/switch.

And the damn GG&G barrel clamp angle does not allow the m-lok adapter that comes with the streamlight to fit at all.
Not only that but the streamlight m-lok adapter does not fit flush on any of the 8 m-lok slots on the firearm ( I would assume the same for all flashlights that come with angled M-lok adapters).
I designed and 3d printed an adapter in about 1 hour, everything fits nicely, next step make it out of aluminum.

This is much more of a pain then I was expecting.
Let me tell you I feel your pain.
When I hear “tactical” I hear “easy to mount light, sling and maybe optic”
Because that is what I and most people need to execute the tactics of my use case!
These shotties are pretty rad and it would be nice to be able to kit them out

I figured it all out, I'm going to try and machine the adapter at work tomorrow.

-Update: said f*ck it and ordered a m-lok to picatinny adapter.

Just waiting for the follower to arrive in the mail before I slap it all together.
