hello everyone

I currently bought a 308 savage 10 FCP and put a vortex 4x16x44 on it. Im looking to get a good muzzle brake for it but see so many options out on Canadian market. I see some ranging from $70-$200.
Could anyone give some advice and experience of some good ones out there.

Thanks

I have an Insite Heathen as well, it is the only brake that I have tried and I am happy with it. Easy to install and with a substantial reduction in felt recoil. The accuracy is there as well.

I ran a Coretac one on a Desert Tech in 260Rem a few years back and the rifle would barely bump your shoulder in recoil, very effective. I don't think they make that model with the flat top and bottom anymore though.

I bought the rifle from rifleman338 and agree... however I think the neighbors on the gun line hated me...

That brake and a limbsaver could make a .300 win mag feel like a .22lr

Primary Arms M4-72.
Watched a couple YouTube videos and this had one of the lowest recoils.
I have it on my .308 Tikka Varmint. No regrets what so ever.
Just don't fire the rifle without ear defenders.
CTCS up top carries it.

Thanks everyone so far Heathen looks like the most liked I have been looking around a lot and saw Albert tactical rifle has there own and Canadian made maple ridge has one to. Haven't heard anything yet about those 2, are there any good?
For the most part I see most notable run between $100-$200 (my price range) and others run up to $300 or under $100 which Im not generally looking at but wonder why such a price gap

Currently have an Insite Arms Heathen and an Impact Precision. The Heathen, Gen 1version had a tendency to come loose. My reference over the two is the Impact Precision but that's just my opinion. Both are effective in recoil reduction .

The guys at Impact Precision have now transitioned over to the Heathen which we are very honored and pleased to announce as they are all very accomplished and experienced shooters.

On some rifles where the shoulder is not perfectly square to the bore, the brake(common in higher production factory rifles), sometimes requires a bit more torque so we recommend a strap wrench to tighten. Nearly all higher end factory and custom rifles have threads cut very square and the nut locks up well with a firm tighten.

We ARE SO CONFIDENT in the HEATHEN that we
maintain our unconditional, no-questions-asked refund policy if you purchase one of our brakes from us or a retailer and you do not believe it is the best muzzle brake you have used.

Precision Armament M11 Severe Duty Muzzle Brake on my Ruger Precision .308 - marked reduction in muzzle jump and felt recoil compared to OEM brake.
Installed a Grizzly Gunworks Defcon 1 on my Desert Tech SRS-A1 .308 over the winter. Will report my thoughts on it once the season starts.
