Looking for a Gunsmith to Install a New Barrel on an H&R M14

Looking for a gunsmith in the Maritimes to install a new barrel on an H&R M14.
I swapped an original M14 barrel for a new one but it has to be properly installed and head spaced.
Its on the gun but not properly installed. As if I will ever shoot the original gun.
It will have to go to a gunsmith because of legal transporting issues.
OR someone that can install a barrel come here to do the job.

Is it me or does something not compute right.
If you have an original H&R M14 then it is a prohib with grandfather clause.
It cannot be taken out of the safe to fire it on the range.
Why swap out the original barrel on a rifle that is basically a safe queen?

Am I missing something? (wouldn't be the first - or last time).

I assume he wants to take all the parts off his prohibited receiver and install them on a Nork receiver.

There by creating a NR built off USGI parts.......
