I have a MK2 TRR non magnum type E receiver. I totally bent mine trying to torque it to 25 inches/lbs.



Looking for the heavy duty thick ones ( 1/8" ) I believe in black.

DIP in the states makes them but will not ship it here. :(

So why did it have to be trimmed ? Did you buy the one made for the tupperware stock or something because all the wood stock including the TR have the same bottom metal
 
Yeah the one I got was longer. A member here made them out of 1/8 metal for the tupperware stocks.

The hard part was to find the longer action screws. what a PITA that was....

But now I can torque that sh!t down with no issues.
 
Longer action screws? The plates I make don't require longer action screws. I have sold about a dozen of them and gave a few to some good freinds of mine to use and no one has needed longer screws.
 
With the thicker plate the factory screws would only catch a few threads and I didn't like that. So I lucked out and found 1 inch DIP ones on eBay.
