Looking for a Long Range in Winnipeg

St Charles - Its a DND range out to 900 or 1000 yds if you want to use it you have to go through the MPRA.

Selkirk Game & Fish - Out to 200 yds.

White Wolf Range - I believe they have a Range out to 300yds.

You can come out and try a couple of times for free, it is getting late in the shooting season for long range locally as we run out of evening light early however someone should be out there Wednesday for 6pm. Saskatchewan Ave. is closed at the perimeter now so access is off Portage avenue, you turn right at the tims just outside the perimeter and go north past the west side of the race track and turn left on Sask. ave. there are signs that lead into the range and anyone there will be more than willing to help you out.

You can contact someone at the Manitoba Provincial Rifle Association if you are interested in shooting at St. Charles Range. The website is manitobarifle.com

I'm sick at home so I had lots of time to flick through the photobucket account. Hope it helps. I think the White Wolf range is a great all around deal and the Seven Sisters Range is sweet for distance shooting. Virden is a wonderful range but is 3 hrs from Winnipeg.

We don't generally have to plant mines in our rifle ranges out west, but I have thought about IED's for the guys that commit vandalism.

Only the members get told where the mines are;):D That pic is from one of the five pistol bays during a fun competition which required crawling under the wire and all sorts of fun.
