Looking for a M14 Bipod

Hi everyone,

Back then, Fabsports use to carry an M14 Bipod that was clamping directly to the gaz tube. Since they don't seem to be carrying it anymore I would like to know if anyone knows a store that still carries them in Canada.

I found the bipod on a few websites in USA but they don't want to ship to Canada.

I knew I should've bought it when I first saw it...

unless you want to do an a1 or e2 version, the bipod is NOT what it's cracked up to be- you're far better off mounting a stud( which is covered in one of the stickies) and mounting your bipod to that- clamping the bipod to your gas system ( while it is the military way) can and does shift the barrel and gas system , throwing your zero off
mounting to the stock does not

You never want to put any pressure on the barrel during shooting. Anything that changes barrel harmonics will affect accuracy and your ability to group.

I have bipod for M14 (Part number H-195) or I have a Picatinny Rail Adapter too

Fabsports : Is the Picatinny rail alright on the Norc M14? I read that the wood at this spot is very flimsy and it could crack the stock if you screw something there.

I use the Picatinny Rail Adapter on fiberglass stock and no problem with that.

there's wood hardener product at Rona that a guy i know applied to his stripped norc wood stock and he has a bipod rail on it.... no issues so far and he's a range rat big time.


I've installed custom bipod rails on a tonne of fiberglass stocks and they are rock solid once everything is mounted correctly. epoxy bedding is a good idea as well.
