I'm looking for something in the 26"-32" length with a 16"-20" barrel with a .625"/20 gauge bore, quality, but the lowest price possible, I am really looking for something assembled with those specs under $1,000CND if at all possible. thanks ahead of time.

I've looked at them, but they don't stand behind their guns from reviews on other forums, can't find them, but I remember the horror stories. they produce, import and sell non-firing replicas without the fire hole drilled. so you can end up drilling the hole, the gun blowing up and you're out hundreds, I don't have that sort of money to waste. I need something that works, but at less than $1,000.

INCORRECT. This is the second thread you've said this and it is simply incorrect. They sell ready to fire guns and at least a few members here have or have had and fire them, myself included. I have a firing early British sea service musket that works like a top and was under $1k. I visited the shop, asked numerous questions before and after purchase and in my experience they have some of the best customer service I've gotten from a local gun store.
Loyalist guns do come from India, and they do not try to hide this. They arrive as semi-finished un-firable guns. However once they reach Loyalist they are fitted, finished, the frizens hardened, lock tuned, touch hole drilled, etc. If you request a firing gun you will get one, including proof testing instructions and load data. They do recommend you proof test any guns they sell, even if it is a Pedersoli. (They have had Pedersolis that failed) If you have any questions, call them, they will be more than helpful.
Your money and your call, but please verify your information.

I agree with 1300_stainless. They come ready to fire, they might even proof it for you for an additionnal fee. I might add that recently a certain firearms dealer imported German proofed firearms. Upon closer inspections several board members on CGN found that while the guns had passed proof they were extremely dangerous. Just because a product has proof marks does not always mean it is safe
I will say this: I found Loyalist Arms barrels to be of inconsistent diameter, I found the lock in need of running as well. I would buy again from them.

This is my problem too, I have no doubt loyalist Arms is a great company & stands behind there products, but eeeeeee i dont know yet if I could trust my face, eye sight or life to Indian steel on a regular basis. If I was reenacting then SURE id be content. But every shot i'll be making, will be with a full .69 or .735 (whatever it is) cal lead ball.
I assume that you are referring to a trade gun style. I do not know of any one currently making something that short on a regular basis. There was some one that built a few short barreled smooth bore trade gun style canoe guns a few years ago. This going to be a custom or a remodel. Try looking under canoe guns....:Let us know what you find.
