Looking for a muzzle brake with a M15x1 thread

Hey,

About to set up a magnificent anschutz 1782 in 308.

I would like a muzzle brake, but I cant seem to find anything decent with a M15x1 thread??


Anybody knows where to get a good one, not a cheap junk.?

This one seems ok. Not sure what look you were hoping for but the thread is definitely a limiting factor like you say!

I don’t think my suggestion will work with that barrel profile. The diameter of the barrel at the shoulder for the brake needs to be 0.725” minimum.

This could work, I will keep on looking... yeah thread is a limiting factor!!

GBT sells 419 Brakes, mine is threaded M18x1 ( Tikka T3X Varmint) check his site

You could try Insite Arms, a CGN sponsor, and see if they can do their Heathen Brake in that thread (it is not a normal thread pitch they do, so ask). https://www.insitearms.com/product/the-heathen-muzzle-brake-11/

I can attest that their Heathen Brake is one of the best made, and made in Canada.

That's the same thread pitch as the HK416 / MR223 and B&T AP223. There are lots of options.

Surefire, HK,, B&T Dead Air, .....

Yeah,

I would have loved the Socom from surefire but it's only made in M18 thread
