Hey everybody,
Merry Christmas. I was wondering if anyone knows where I can get a milsurp synthetic stock for my norc m14s. Numrich won't ship to Canada without the paperwork from the state department. Looking for under $50. Thanks for your time, D.

Just a note. If you do manage to get a US GI fiberglass stock, make sure you either replace the recoil spring retaining pin with a longer one or build a spacer in the stock to hold it in place. If you don't, when you take the magazine out of the rifle one day, the spring guide will shoot back into the mag well.

A usgi stock for under 50.00 ? I don't think you will find one for that kinda price... but ya never know. I buy them from the u.s. 20 to 30 at a time and don't get them even close to that cheap.

I live in a border city numrich sells stocks for $35 good condition and $17 for fair. So yes they can purchased for cheap. I just didn't want to ask my American shooting buddies to order it for me. Thanks for the replies though, keep em' coming.

but.... do they have any..... I have been bulk buying usgi stocks for the past year..... numrich never seems to have them, at least when i call, and they put this stock on thier "requires export certificates" list due to it being able to accept an m14 action. No problem for me as i have a u.s. address and the services of an importer at my fingertips. If I could actually get my mitts on those numrich stocks for the price they advertise at...... you would see them cheaper than they are going for these days. I generally let them go fo near 200 but they have been modded and refinished to fit the M14S . I am constantly looking for more as everytime i get a few..... they are gone in days.

If you can get one of your shooting buddies across the line to fill the selector hole and ship it as an m1a stock.... you get around the state dept export requirement.... legally..... otherwise, the standard usgi unaltered stocks, technically require those permits. This is why i use the services of an importer... and it makes the stocks cost more.

I don't know why a company like ATI hasn't knocked off an m1a stock for the open market..... they have done it for so many other guns.... and retailing at very reasonable prices for the average shooter. I'm thinkin something like that may hit the market sooner or later.

Item is in stock, I called today. Service was willing to assist in filling out the paperwork. I'll end up probably getting it myself.

I ordered 2 last week. Waited about 6 weeks for my import certs.

You need a new import certificate each time you place an order.
