Looking for a Non Restricted .223 Semi Auto "black" rifle

I have owned several AR-15 guns. I like them. But I don't like restricted rifles.

What is out there for less than 2500.00 that is non restricted but is similar to the AR platform?

If you have one, a picture and brief note on your opinion would be appreciated.

Guns to look out for are the Armalite AR-180b ( discontinued, youll have to find a used one), Robinson Arms XCR, Kel-tec SU-16, Swiss Arms Black Special and Benelli MR-1 come to mind. If you like bullpup, then the Tavor will fit that bill.

I was just looking at the mr1 a couple days ago.
Its really nice but its not made for easy use.
By that I mean the mag release is very far, same with bolt release and the stock is just in a weird position... I wanted to like it, but just holding it...I don't.
Ide get a tavor.

Because Global reporters LOVE to use them, when CGN'er are nice enough to gather all the information including pictures, pricing, and retailer information, not just guns but RCMP magazine regulation it is like one stop shop for all their "spin doctorin'" needs

Ive looked at all the options and i dont see anything under 3500 that i think is perfect , and those options are still 8 pounds+ ... frusterating

The XCR is a darn good rifle and its like 2300. It solves all the problems of the AR and other black rifles (for right hand shooters at least)

Left hand cocking handle for fast easy cocking while keeping trigger hand on the grip (no weird top #### T handle)
Good bolt release position (Integrated into the trigger guard so you flick it downward with your trigger finger to engage)
Same mag release position as an AR
Tons of accessories for hanging the kitchen the sink off of
Only thing is it could be a touch lighter.

I have a AR180b that I love, but its got no bolt release which is the one problem I have with it.
