Looking for a non restricted that uses glock 9mm mags

I have a JR Carbine and have found that with a few changes it can allow more comfort depending what issues you are having, I'm no expert but after months of researching on the net and Gunnutz in particular the 9mm JR was my choice of a fun affordable NR centerfire rifle to buy,,,
I've since added a vertical front hand grip, a rear quality (Mil Spec buffer tube and buttstock) that is adjustable in length (for length of pull/compactness), improved pistol grip, front/rear fold up sights/scope and flash hider +front stock mounted Bi pod and after 600+rds I am very happy with my choice,,,

As Eddy Bullpoo mentioned the keltek 2000 is another even more affordable 9mm NR rifle, but from everything I've read about it I do not believe you will find it as comfortable as your JR Carbine, less options for accessories as most of the JR Carbine is AR compatible offering endless modifying options,,, Where the Keltek 2000 is more of a bare bones basic rifle but it does have the option to fold up to a very short overall size,,,

It's unfortunate there are not a lot more options out there in 9mm w/o Restricted (however there maybe some I'm unaware of),,,

Otherwise you will be looking at ,223/,308 NR rifles like the Robinson Arms XCR L (,223) & XCR M (,308) H&K SL84 (,223), Swiss Arms Classics (,223), that's all that comes to mind besides the Ruger Mini 14's/30's, SKS's etc, etc,

Good luck with your choice, maybe give the JR more time for you to adapt/let it grow on you more if you haven't already,,,

Cheers Dean

I did pretty much the same thing to mine. world of difference!!

What is it about the rifle that you find uncomfortable?? There's a miriad of bits out there to replace stock parts to accommodate many body sizes.

I like my 40S&W version. Only real changes are a bipod, magpul afg and a scope. What is it that you find uncomfortable?

If you really get totally bitter and twisted and feel you must get it our of your house regardless of the cost - dibs! ;) ;)

when I shoulder it for some reason with my red dot it just doesnt line up correctly. I have raptor arms though so Alot of weapons are an odd fit. heres a pic without the red dot
