I need a sporter stock for a P-17 hunting rifle. Is anyone aware of a dealer, preferably in Canada, who might carry one?

I doubt (but am open to correction) that no one in Canada is likely to carry one. But Boyd's (boydboys.com) in the US has a couple of styles available for the P-17 and I don't think there's any problem shipping to Canada. I got one of their RIA stocks for a Nº4 SMLE and it turned out OK.

Keep your Boyd's orders under $100 usd though. You will probably be waiting for 6 months for your order on certain P17 models.

I believe the Boyd's P-17 stocks come with the 'pot-belly' look of the original. If the sporter has straightened bottom metal, some re-shaping may be required.

Bell & Carlson makes an excellent fiberglass stock for the P14 / Model of 1917.

I think you'll have to have it ordered in from the States though.
