I'm going to look at a M70 Featherlight in 30-06 thats 10 years old. Any one know what the book value on these things are? The current owner has no idea and I want to give him a fair price for the rifle

M70 push feed? M70 Classic CRF? Condition?

Depending on condition and model the rifle could be worth anywhere from $350.00 - $700.00.

I'm not sure if its push feed or CRF I'll have to see that when I get there I just wanted a little ball park figure. I hope CRF myself.... Condition is perfect from what he said only a box down the pipe not used in 9 years

Featherlite or Featerweight? Two different models. Featherlite is pushfeed only, and has the McMillan stock. I've bought a few of them over the years, never paid more then $400. Featherweights are more popular, wood schnable tipped stock, push feed or control feed. CRF is worth a little more, but as long as it's NOT a pre-64, I wouldn't pay more then $550 for just the gun. Pre-64s are worth whatever you figure they're worth. I have a few, but I wouldn't pay what I see them going for lately. - dan
